Faul McCartney caught right-handed

Faul McCartney caught playing guitar right-handed in India on the Anthology.
Even if this photo were reversed, it is still a purposefully placed clue that this is an impostor.

Another behavior that gives Faul away is his apparent right-handedness. Paul was an incurable lefty.
One of the big areas of controversy in the Paul is Dead conspiracy is which is his dominant hand - is he a leftie or a rightie? Paul is one of the most famous left-handed guitarists in the world and, in fact, in a 1963 interview Paul is quoted as saying the following about it...
"The only thing I couldn't cure myself of was being left-handed. I do everything with my left hand, and no matter how I try I can't change the habit. I just seem to do everything back to front. I used to even write backwards. Every time the schoolmasters would look at my handwriting they would throw swinging fits."
- Paul McCartney [from a 1963 interview]
Here is Paul himself, in his own words and before his alleged death, telling us that he is a devout leftie and that everything he does is with his left hand. Why is it then that in spite of this, there are a number of occurances after 1966 where Paul is picking up and/or holding objects with his right hand? Being a leftie myself, my dominant hand performs such tasks, i.e. my left, and because Paul has also admitted to being the same then his dominant, left hand should be the one seen doing such things. But there are a number of times after 1966 where he is shown in Beatle material doing something that is right-handed. These include: On page 4 of the Magical Mystery Tour booklet Paul is holding his wand in his right hand. At the beginning of the 'Fool on the Hill' segment in the Magical Mystery Tour movie Paul takes the cigarette out of his mouth using his right hand. In the Magical Mystery Tour movie, as the cast are getting drunk and singing on the bus Paul is shown holding his beer bottle in his right hand. In the music video for Penny Lane, Paul appears to take his bass guitar to hold right-handed before quickly correcting himself. On the cover of Abbey Road Paul is holding his cigarette in his right hand. In the booklet for Let It Be... Naked a photo is shown of Paul holding a cup of tea in his right hand. On the Anthology 7 video, as Paul is discussing the song 'I Will' clips are shown of their time in India. Two clips show during this that shows Paul playing right-handed guitar...
http://homepages.tesco.net/harbfamily/opd/left.html [archived here]
There is an unusual scene in the Anthology 7 video / DVD where Paul is shown playing guitar right handed. The particular scene can be found approximately 50 minutes in where Paul is talking about writing the song 'I Will'. This particular song is playing as the scenes are shown. Of course we have to ask why Paul is playing right-handed here. According to the story, Paul's replacement William Campbell was a right-handed guitar play who had to learn how to play left-handed for public appearences. Maybe, since he was in remote India he felt he could let his guard down and play with his more comfortable stance?

Paul played the bass left-handed. Notice how the right hand is on the fret board, while the left hand is picking the strings.

“Paul, being left-handed, amazed me by playing my bass backwards...!” – Bill Wyman [Source]

Faul betrays his natural inclination to hold the bass as a right-handed person. Notice how his left hand is on the neck (where it would finger notes on the fret board) and his right hand would be in position to pick the strings.

I'm sure Faul would never actually go on stage & play the bass like a righty, but he's been caught playing right-handed before.

In this image from the "Let It Be" movie, it appears the pick-guard is on top. It is possible that a right-handed guitar was restrung, but it could also be evidence that the image was reversed.

Faul is shown lighting a cigarette with his right hand. Now it might be argued that a left-hander could light a cigarette right-handed. Maybe, but speaking as a right-handed person who has reasonable control of her left hand, I would not be comfortable using my left hand to put a flame that close to someone's face.

In "Penny Lane," Faul slips up briefly, showing his natural inclination to play right-handed:

Also from "Penny Lane" - Faul drinking with his right hand:

Faul playing drums right-handed:

Here are some more images of Faul being caught right-handed:

And showing his allegiance to his Illuminati masters:

Faul McCartney caught right-handed (Paul is Dead (PID))

In this concert footage of "Helter Skelter," the Paul McCartney double, aka Plastic Macca, is using his right hand as though it were his dominant hand. Original Beatle Paul was left-handed. This is one of the obvious tells that Faul is an impostor.

The video has not been flipped, as evidenced by the man wearing his wedding ring on his left hand at 0:08.

At 2:37 and 3:30, that pirate, Faux Paul, betrays his natural right-handedness by holding a script with his right hand in the movie, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales":

Above, Faul is seen carrying his luggage with his supposedly dominant left hand (notice the wedding ring), while carrying his boarding pass w/ his right hand. This is from a 13 March 2020 article in The Daily Mail. The impostor is obviously right-hand dominant, unlike the real Paul McCartmey. This is but one more example.

  1. Excellent post, Faulster. I believe that you have provided enough material to prove your point.

  2. But I'm right-handed and I fold my arms left over right! To me, Paul/Faul looks like he's folding his arms as a left-handed person would. Right over left feels completely unnatural to me.

  3. I'm right-handed, and I fold my arms right over left, as Faul is doing. It feels very unnatural for me to fold them left over right.

A reversed picture wouldn't change the orientation of the pick guard.

  8. After looking at hundreds of pics over the last two days I'm totally onboard with PID, right down to the powers that be retouching old pics of Paul to better match Faul. There are not enough pic angles in the world to make ONE mans face change so much from one pic to the next. Pics taken on the same day will look SO different sometimes! And how his ears have been prodominatley covered by hair since 1967, seems so strange unless your hiding them for a major reason. The hair growth pattern and eye lashes are the most telling to me however, even when there is a morphed or doctored pic of Faul you can always tell the pre-1967 Paul eyes.

All that aside the "Penny Lane" example of right handed-ness above does the opposite of prove the PID point. The pic image is reversed as you can tell from the video directly above it. There is a pic of Ringo sitting across from at the table Paul which also supports that this is probably reversed. I flip images all the time for layout and design purposes, that is probably all this was as well. Just thought it was worth mentioning. Love the Blog!

  9. ^ Someone may have placed reversed images in videos, etc, as a clue that Faul is not the real deal.

  10. He is playing a left handed guitar upside down in the pics. (The pick guard is over the sound hole instead of below.) A reversed photo would just change hands so to speak. Not flip the guitar so its upside down. Those are real pics of him playing right handed. But extraordinary people or guitar players can do this. Steve Vai is a right handed player that taught himself to play left handed. it is so hard to ignore all the hints in songs and album covers though.

  11. ^ Chad, the real Paul said in 1963:

"The only thing I couldn't cure myself of was being left-handed. I do everything with my left hand, and no matter how I try I can't change the habit. I just seem to do everything back to front. I used to even write backwards."

So, somehow, I don't think the real Paul would've spent a lot of time teaching himself to play right-handed.

  12. The real Paul was circumcised although Catholic so was his brother ! how about Faul???

    ReplyDelete
  13. circumcision wouldn't prove anything as this was so common in the anglo-saxon group throughout the 20th century, dropping off in the late 70's.

  14. Also, the picture of Faul folding his arms on the beach, is so NOT Paul McCartney, the arm folding is moot.

  15. I don't think reversing a video, will make a pick guard appear up or down relative to a person's body... just saying... on the other hand I wouldn't be drinking hot tea with my off hand, especially if I were wearing gloves...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Let me expand... I grew up with a left-handed guitar player... People like him often had to pick up right-handed guitars... a guitar that is "right-handed" is extremely common. Even if Faul had a guitar with a pick guard on the wrong side he could have strung it for a lefty... if he didn't string it for a lefty then it's still pretty common to see lefty guitarists play the heck out of a guitar upside down they're so accustomed to it.

What is telling is the video from the Anthology where Paul is (I believe in India at the time) playing a right-handed guitar and playing it like a right-hander... he hadn't had time to make the change yet. The fact that he did make the change is remarkable and Faul must certainly be gifted if not a very good look alike..

    1. I am a left-handed person, I play the guitar as a lefty, but the violin as a righty. The fact is that it's way harder to reverse a violin properly compared to a guitare (you can't just reverse the strings). So I'm not that shocked by Paul playing a right-handed violin, as I'm not when he's using right-handed guitars. When you are left-handed among right-handed musicians, it's frustrating to not be able to play their instruments, so you accomodate even if it's not as natural as the way you would play your own instruments.

  31. I'm not disagreeing with the "Faul" theory, but I have to mention that the third picture down, the older faul holding up the bass with his left hand, IS a left handed bass. Yes he's holding the neck to the left of his head with his left hand, but look at the strap over his right shoulder. If it was a right handed bass, his strap would be on his left shoulder, with the opposite end of the strap under his right armpit. Also notice the volume knobs. They are located left of the strings. If he was to play the bass right handed, the knobs would be to the right of the strings, or down. While I get your article and have proof with the videos, that single picture is correctly showing a left handed bass that he is holding across his body. If he were to let go, the neck would fall to the right of his body.

  32. The India photo of Faul playing has to be mirrored, as well as the film itself flipped to make it appear as though Faul were playing right-handed. I say this as, by this point ('67) the hairline has gone right. This means that the photo had to be flipped sideways to give the illusion that Paul were still alive - at least in print. Much easier would have been to flip the film of him playing his guitar in this scene. This would have killed two birds with one stone: first, giving a bit of mis-information to Paul's 'truthers to give them a black eye; and secondly, to facilitate the extracting of a photograph for the same.
As for the Penny Lane clip, look carefully - you'll see that it isn't Faul who is accepting it right-handedly, it's the rennaisance man who is handing it to Faul. See, as the scene progresses, how Faul corrects the handing over of the guitar to the left-handed position . Faul tries to accept it left-handed(with his right hand on the neck, and his left hand below the instrument), but the garcon moves it to the right-handed stance, which Faul has to correct by pushing the neck over to his right with his left hand.
The photo that appears immediate after is a mirrored photo taken from the film just discussed. All you have to do is match up the positions of the table, cups and saucer, candles and Faul & George. Just freeze the Penny Lane video at about mid-point and you'll see.
This photo flipping wasn't uncommon in the 60's as it was often mistakenly done. In just the publications I've owned or read in my lifetime from that time period (from the early 50s to the 70's) many articles where the photo was flipped - I believe this not to be intentional so much as inadvertent as the means of reproduction were often stored and retrieved l/r backwards. This, usually, occurred to slides or isolated frames from 35mm photos that aren't so easily discerned for their lack of differentiation of right to left.

  33. P.S. There's a very famous flipping of a photo for public purposes and it's easy to find. Just do a 'net image search for the VeeJay album 'Introducing...The Beatles', and on the cover you'll see a very young group, but with Paul having a right-hand part. Obviously, we had a little glitch in production, but it proves just how common it was at that time. :)

  36. Just curious, im willing to keep an open mind as there have been far more difficult frauds perpetrated over the years, but how do Faul theorists explain the vast creative output from a supposed lookalike? What are the chances that a random person who happens to look at least 90 percent like one of the great songwriters in human history is also a great songwriter? Granted Wings and his solo work aren't quite up to Beatles standards, but neither was Lennon aside from Imagine. Great music, but not Beatles quality (nobody could possibly match or improve upon them anyway).

  37. All this about a 'False Paul' is a little new to me. I'm 52-years-old, and I've been a die-hard Beatles fan since I was 6-years-old. I'm also "very" right-handed, but I do, at times do things with my left hand, like hold my cigarette! But let's think of some more aspects to this: I've always been one who said "There's The Beatles, then there's everyone else (musically speaking)! (With the exception there, of Buddy Holly - the real "King" of Rock, but that's another subject!) But really, such extraordinary talent as The Beatles were, and such unbeatable song writing of Lennon/McCartney team, and they could quickly, and easily, replace such a talent as Paul McCartney with not only a look-a-like, but also one possessing the same talent? And while, yes. they all had great hits post-Beatles, who had the most hits? While nothing can beat the talent of those 4 together, for one to have such an outstanding career after the break-up; and then that one a supposed 'fake' Paul McCartney? I may be, well I am, very biased here, in being such a Beatles fan, but I just can't buy the Paul is dead (and has been since 1966 - or whenever) rumors! From a talent point of view, I can't see such a talent being replaced with an equal! Felix Turner III, Duncan, S.C. (felixlt3@charter.net) (I guess when I started wearing my hair like Paul on the "Let It Be" album, when I was 13 - and still do - some would say it's "Faul's" hairstyle!?)

  39. There was no left handed Martin D-28 used by The Beatles, so any clips or photos of Paul/Faul playing a Martin acoustic "right handed" must be inverted. If he were actually playing his or John's D-28 right handed, the pick guard would be below the sound hole (regardless how it was strung and set up to play) Paul/Faul playing right handed on either his own or John's D-28 would have the pick guard down.

  40. As a musician this one is very tough to imagine. Learning to play with both hands is totally starting from scratch with muscle memory. It's a huge amount of work, no serious guitar or bassist is really known to play with either hand. It's an incredible feat if "Faul" suddenly went from right to left. It takes years to get to be able to play with your dominant hand. People don't just up and switch. It would take months and months at least of steady hard work. Beatles music is incredibly complicated.

  41. You know this topic is interesting, but shows us just how little we've studied something like this--all I have to go on is personal reflections about myself and a few friends/family--like I'm right handed, and can only blink my left eye--the eye opposite my dominant hand--is that normal for other righties? Yet, I had a girlfriend in elementary school who could blink both of her eyes--try as I might, I could never do it! In the video in which the Beatles are doing Shakespeare, at one point Paul blinks both of his eyes--my view of that ability is--you have to be born being able to do that, you can't learn it--and there is such a thing as ambidexterity, but that's not all that good of news for those who can do everything with both hands, according to this article I read online--in it they explain that being double-handed has downsides such as lower general intelligence test results, and they are more likely to possess the "LRRTM1" gene which is linked to schizophrenia, as is found in lefties as well--since both hemispheres of their[ambies & lefties] brains are more closely linked to one another than with righties, it has a tendency to affect their emotional stability, and they can more easily be coerced into doing something--righties, however, were the hardest ones to influence, according to this article--but, here's the odd thing about this very interesting article: it lists Paul McCartney in with the ambidextrous, in this last paragraph:

"11. It’s not all bad news for the handedness-ambivalent, though. Being able to use both hands with (almost) equal ease can really pay off, especially in sports, arts and music. Some reportedly cross-dominant celebrities and historic figures include Leonardo da Vinci, Pete Rose, Richard Feynmen, pitcher Greg A. Harris, Michelle Kwan, Shigeru Miyamoto, Paul McCartney, Benjamin Franklin and Harry Truman."

    http://mentalfloss.com/article/30667/11-facts-about-ambidextrous

I am not sure, but Paul wasn't known to be ambidextrous was he? If not, maybe they've mixed 'f'aul up with Paul, due to 'f'aul's right-handedness, because of the times 'f'aul has mistakenly used the wrong hand with which to do something, then suddenly switched to his left--Or--

OR, he may very well be an ambie, which would help explain why he was able to learn to play left-handed so seemingly easily.

    There may not be any proof that we don't choose which hand is dominant for us, but are, instead, born favoring one over the other--however, I think those researchers who still claim they can't tell if it's learned, or we're born with a proclivity for one over the other. aren't really paying close enough attention. Most of us could no more use our left hand to write with, than we could jump from here to the moon! Our ability is something we just seem to be born with, it's not a learning thing.{When I was 6, I thought I could write equally well with both hands--until I broke my right wrist, so had to try writing with my left hand--no one was more surprised, when I couldn't control the pencil, than I was! :) }

  42. If you enlarge the photo of Faul playing the guitar in India near the top of the article, you'll see that the thicker (lower sounding) strings are at the top of the guitar, and the thinner ones on the bottom. This is how a guitar is strung for a right handed player. Also Faul is fingering what looks to be an open "A" chord, or it's variation, an "A7" chord. Open A would fit in with a lot of Beatles music which was in or near the key of "C".
