I had been a Beatles&...In 1966, I was 12 years old. I had been a Beatles' fan since "I Want to Hold Your Hand" came out. I remember when the news reports that Paul McCartney had died in a traffic accident came out. It was a dreary, wintry day, without snow, so it may have been November. I remember talking about it with friends. None of us were surprised, though we were shocked and saddened. We shared how we had had a sense of foreboding that the Judgment of God would strike the Beatles ever since John had said they were more popular than Jesus that March, (although I wasn't offended by what seemed to me to be John's simple statement of fact.)
