Sometimes to move forwards, you have to look back. This is true when looking into who Faul is.
From all accounts, history shows that Faul was born in September 1966, but who was he before then? There is much hype that he was Billy Shepherd (Campbell, Shears) from Billy Pepper and the Pepper Pots.
This is in part due to the Sergeant Pepper album; it had both verbal and photographic clues pointing to Billy Shears. So we have to diagnose not only this group and its members, but also who and what they were beforehand.
The Primitives became the Pepper Pots in 1965.
The Cornflakes (previously known as The Rising Sons) had built a sizable fan base on the Oxford live circuit. Winning first prize in the Plaza Cinema beat group contest in Northampton resulted in a two year contract with Pye Records. Cyd Cipin, who ran the local Plaza Cinema, was so impressed with the group, that he became their manager along with brother Mayer and their associate, Leslie Jaffa. The group's name was changed to The Primitives, suggestive of their driving R&B style, and they signed to Pye in autumn 1964. The group consisted of lead vocalist, Jay Roberts (real name Jeffrey Farthing), Geoff Eaton (Geoff Tindall) on lead guitar, John E. Soul (rhythm guitar and harmonica), Roger James (bass) and Mike Wilding (drums). The group's debut single was "Help Me."
The group split up, and Mal returned to work with his father on building sites. The disillusioned Primitives, having had no success up to this point, contacted Mal asking if he'd front their band. He accepted on the condition that he be allowed to restructure the group. Only Jay Roberts (now on bass and organ) and John E. Soul (guitar) survived the cuts with Roger James leaving to form the Roger James Four. Former Spirits drummer, Mick Charleton, was brought in and Stuart Linnell from local Northampton group, Dave Stone & the Saints, was also recruited. However, John E. Soul immediately left the group. The new Primitives were Ryder (vocals), Roberts (bass and organ), Linnell (lead guitar) and Charleton (drums). "Every Minute of Every Day" was released on Pye under the name Mal Ryder & The Primitives. The Primitives moved to Northampton and rehearsed in manager Cyd Cipin's cinema. Later Mal and the band moved to Italy to eat Pasta, Provencal Sauce and have a bit of success. Interestingly, it says The Rising Sons where from Oxford England, but there was also another group called the Rising Sons: an L.A. blues band formed in 1964 and signed to the Columbia label.
Members: Ry Cooder (Guitars, Vocals), Gary Marker (Bass Guitar), Taj Mahal (Vocals, Harmonica, Keyboards, Guitar), Ed Cassidy* (Drums), Jesse Lee Kincaid (Guitar, Vocals).
If we were to go down the path of someone from The Pepper Pots, nay The Primitives replacing Paul McCartney, or from anywhere else you would need someone who is multi-talented and not just a lead singer. The only person that seemed out of place in The Pepper Pot was John E Soul - a person who seems just as bogus as Sgt. Pepper himself.
When trying to find who replaced Paul McCartney, do not rely on it being Billy Shepherd, Billy Sheers, or William Campbell, for if it were a real person, with tangible leads to follow, you would find them, but there aren’t. Given that Faul has evolved into multiple faces over the years, which one would you choose to track?
That doesn’t mean you don’t keep on trying, for science and persistence have proven Faul is not Paul. With more and more people waking up on social media, who knows what clues may be gleaned? If you would like a challenge, find out who John E Soul was. It is only by crossing out the wrong answers that we will find the correct ones.

John Louse, eh?
ReplyDeleteIn a band with a young Jimmy Page?? Mmmmaayybbee...
Credited for rhythm guitar and harmonica? Seriously doubtful. Have you ever seen Faul play harmonica? An early incarnation of Faul is more likely to be the keyboard player or a session player.
The Primitives -- You Said :
Bass – Roger James, Drums –Michael Wilding, Guitar – Jimmy Page, Lead Guitar – Geoff Eaton (Aka Geoff Tindall), *Rhythm Guitar, Harmonica – John E. Soul,
Vocals – Jay Roberts (Aka Jeffrey Farthing), Written by – Geoff Tindall
This article just reeks of RED HERRING.
the jam was a uk punk new wave band from 77 to 83. they were led by paul weller, whom imitated the british invasion of the 1960s. their breakthrough album of 79 was setting sons.
ReplyDeleteWTF does this have to do w/Faul??
DeleteMore like: YANK your 'Chain' !!
ReplyDeletethey the illuminati killed the photog the other day
ReplyDeleteI was listening to a recent Mark Devlin podcast on youtube, a very interesting one too. During the latter part of the talk he delved into the PiD theory once again, but this time he gave a new spin on what he thinks happened to Paul, and that, from the research by Miles Mathis, was the suggestion that Paul is a twin and that they frequently swap roles in playing "Paul". As soon as I heard that I felt that this is likely what the whole PiD conspiracy is about and it's something which has been at the back of my mind since I began analysing the various discrepancies of Paul's in many photos and videos, right the way back to the Beatles early years up to the present. The idea that Faul is/was some unrelated individual whom had plastic surgery to closely resemble Paul doesn't ring true to me. Far too much of a close likeness, but at the same time there are subtle and nagging differences that makes you think that they're two different people. And what way to fool people into thinking they're looking at the same person by using twins, or even multiples?.
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous disinfo to suggest that Faul is a twin of Paul.
DeleteDisinfo or not this was suggested by Mark Devlin, though he stated that it's just a theory and there's no real evidence to prove it. Considering he highly recommends the research on this blog and the research by Tina Foster, I find it strange his opinions on PiD of late would be labeled as disinfo.
DeleteIf "Faul" is Faul rather than a McCartney twin, or twins, then how do you account for the many apparent anomalies and decreprencies of Paul right the way back to his early days with the other Beatles, including the Quarrymen days, all through Beatle Mania prior to Sept 66 when the real Paul was still around?.
"it's just a theory and there's no real evidence to prove it" - then why even spread it? It just confuses the issue.
Delete"how do you account for the many apparent anomalies and decreprencies of Paul " - Easy. Photo-shopping/Faulsification has been going on since Paul was replaced. That's what the forensics experts said.
I don't think photo shopping of images of Paul would be that easy, nor videos for that matter. You can't just alter images of someone famous and expect the press, public etc to not notice the individual in question dosent match what the person would look like when in public, I.e when performing, interviews.
DeleteAnother thing I don't get about the many anomalies of Paul/Faul is the height comparisons that PiDers claim shows Fail noticeably taller than what Paul was pre 66. However, there are a few interviews on film with the Beatles giving their heights; Paul I heard saying he's 5 11" (in 1963 or 64), yet arent PiDers to assume that Faul/Paul suddenly grew to that height after Sept 66?, or is the person who is impersonating Paul since that date 6 ft or over?. Paul seems to have always been that height, not around 5 ft 8/9 as I've heard some claim.

Height differences: The bigger they are, the harder they Faul

Wow!! [re:Jan 28 Anon] you are NOT very observant AT ALL are you?? Just recently stumble into this hole did you?
ReplyDeleteA planned, engineered doppleganger (i.e. a clone) is STILL more likely explanation than a twin w/plastic surgery!
ReplyDeleteWhy would a twin need plastic surgery when he would already look identical to the other person?. And a doppleganger isn't really the sane as a clone, and the clone idea is a bit of a stretch (though who knows what's possible). Why such an heated debate on this theory? I'm only reiterating someone else's opinions, opinions which, IMO add a little more sense. I'd rather believe the idea that there's always been more than one Paul, even before the alleged death in Sept 66, going back right to when they first got together as a band.
ReplyDeleteFrom the many photos you can easily find on the net, and videos too, you see many subtle variations of Paul's: arched eyebrow/straight brow (look up the appearance of Paul in 63/64 with Dusty Springfield and you'll see Paul with very prominent arched brows, yet oddly in other interviews and photos he has straight brows. Not forgetting changing blue eyes/green eyes sporadically in the same year, Paul with a left sagging eye/face, yet in other photos this "sagging" id nowhere to be seen. "the Beatles never existed" site is a good place that shows these curiosities.
Faul is older than Paul, so he's not a twin. He's also not a clone, because there are too many physical differences (assuming cloning technology were available back in 1966).
DeletePeople think there are many Pauls because of Photoshopping.
The Beatles Never Existed is a disinformation site. If people cast aspersions on JPM, the hope is that people will not care what happened to him and won't seek the truth or justice.
Has anyone reviewed the book "The Beatles: Photographs from the Set of Help! by Emilio Lari?
ReplyDeleteI'm just wondering if the photos are genuine or doctored...
Yes, I have. They seem to be genuine to me...
DeleteAnd Emilio says Paul died too...there is a video of him saying so...
DeleteSome people on Youtube say we should boycott Beatle products until the killers give up.
ReplyDeleteAnd there should be a new forensic test like the Italians did.
